Color Without Color
The holiday season often has a wide variety of color. We just put up our Christmas tree, and I thought this would be a good example of a colorful image edited to be in black and white.

Who Inspires You
This is one of my funniest family photos. I thought this was a good inspiration post because my family inspires me.
-
Fill the Frame
This painting was my grandma’s aunts and has been passed down to her. I have always likes the perspective and style of this painting, and thought it would be a good for a composition post.

Friends and Family
This chess set belonged to my great-grandfather and has been passed down through generations. My family takes care of the set and admires the detailing among the pieces. I thought this chess set would be a good item yo photograph that holds a lot of history.

Reflections
I wanted to have a reflection that was not in a mirror, which made me think of this glass table. I also thought the flowers were aesthetically pleasing and allow for a good reflections exercise.

Facial Symmetry
In Photoshop, I edited both sides of the face to show facial symmetry. I had to think about the composition of the photo in order for the editing to be a smoother process. I overlaid the images with black to show the shadow underneath the original photo.

My Culture
This represents my culture because these are records of American music. I also enjoy listening to these records because they were past down from older generations of my family. This was the most difficult photo challenge of this month, but I am happy with the result.

Exit
This image is a stream at a hiking place I was at. I thought the river flowing could represent water moving towards an exit.
-
Geometry
I liked tis image I took because it has nice leading lines and some yellow flowers to add some more vibrance. I liked the shape of the fence and the trees in the background which is why I thought it would be a good image for this month’s theme.

Flowers
I took this picture while making a new project for my film class. I thought it went well with the theme of flowers for this month, and the green surrounding it made for a nice photo.
