About Fiona Lao
Fiona Lao is a talented local pianist who agreed to play the piano for my project. she was born in Singapore but she was raised in Vancouver. After collage she worked in marketing but she didn’t want to do that with her life so went back to her first love teaching piano she also started to do it for fun. She is also talented in flute and accordion thought my song only required her talents in piano I met her through Mr. Florendo who knows her well from doing this project many times with other students

For our senior music recording project, we were put into the role of producer of the music instead of the performer. For my performance, I chose Fiona Lau, a talented professional pianist, to do a cover of golden from K-pop demon hunters. I chose her for my song and artist because of her experience and talent that has impressed a lot of people. I chose the song because of its ubiquity and the composition of the song being very well composed. For me, the experience of doing this project has been quite cool to be on the other side of the recording booth. I also got to learn a new side of the Pro Tools software. Overall this project was a very fun and interesting experience.
