For the photoblog assignment flowers, I decided to take a photo of the one flower that blooms every year in my backyard. Most of the plants in my backyard do not grow any flowers, and only become green in the springtime, except for this one flower. For some reason every year this bright red flower will come out of the same spot and flower only once. Whenever it blooms, my mother and I immediately notice as the bright red color is easy to see through the window. I thought this flower was deserving of being in my photoblog because I always look forward to seeing it bloom in my gloomy backyard.
