10 THINGS I'VE LEARNED IN MY LIFE SO FAR

This assignment was designed to uncover some of the aspects of our personalities that others may not have been aware of. In English, we were required to come up with ten things that we have learned throughout our lives that weren't entirely cliche. Then in Web/ Audio, we had to make a flash podcast that included images that relate to each idea. When then incorporated our own music that we made with Garageband.

  1. The truth is written all over our faces.
  2. You can often find out more about somebody by their actions, rather than their words.
  3. Never apologize for something you think was the right thing to do.
  4. Those with the least to give are often the only ones to share.
  5. True power comes from a sharp mind, not a sharp blade.
  6. The moments that define you are those when you have to learn how to pick yourself back up.
  7. Don’t hurt yourself by thinking of the past or worry yourself by thinking of the future.
  8. Don’t waste your breath on those who choose not to listen.
  9. Secrets and lying are not the same thing, but usually come hand in hand.
  10. Victory doesn’t make you improve, it’s the experience of loss that makes you stronger.

Garage band was difficult for me to use since I don't have much experience. Creating my own music for the podcast was definitely the hardest aspect of the project. I'm not very muscailly talented so it was hard to create something appealing to listen to. I don't understand the mechanics of a good song, but I do believe the music I created is fairly good for the amount of skill I have in the area.

In English, we had to develop our thoughts on one idea that we found most important to us. For me, it was "the truth is written all over our faces."
