Music Recording Project
For this project, I teamed up with Lucy and we decided to record our friend Kendyll, who’s part of the MVHS Madrigals. She was enthusiastic about being recorded and even brought along four other singers to join her. The group blended beautifully and delivered a performance that really impressed us.

Kendyll, a senior at MVHS and tenor, contributed both harmonies and a solo part to the track.
Kasey, a junior and bass at MVHS, led the chorus and provided the lower harmony lines.
Connor, a senior bass at MVHS, delivered a solid vocal foundation and assisted with arranging the vocals.
Ella, a sophomore alto at MVHS, enriched the song with layered harmonies and supported the second verse.
Jordan, a senior tenor at MVHS, added background vocals and helped build the song’s dynamics.
Maya, a junior mezzo-soprano at MVHS, brought texture to the bridge and sang during the final chorus.

Artist Statement and Reflection
For our senior project, we wanted to create something meaningful and fun, so we decided to record a song in the Freestyle studio using Pro Tools. We brought in one of our friends to collaborate with, and the experience ended up being one of our favorite memories from this year.
Being in the studio gave us a whole new appreciation for how much work goes into recording music. We loved the process just as much as the final product, and we’re really proud of what we made.
