Color without Color

Aperture 7.1 ISO 160 Shutter Speed 1/8

For the color without color assignment, I chose to photograph my friend Sierra. In the photo, she is clearly very happy at something, but you can’t see where she is or where she is looking, which alludes to mystery. I chose a low shutter speed to make her appear blurred, which, in my opinion, provides the feeling of a happy memory, where you only have a blurry snapshot of it, but it still brings you joy.
