Hello, my name is Nicholas Ng and this is about me. I was a student of Freestyle Academy from 2019-2021 and I go to Mountain View High School. I also love to doodle a lot. I love to spend time with my friends and playing video games. My favorite video games are Minecraft and Pokemon (Those are just the ones that I can think of right now) I came to Freestyle Academy to learn about Animating. Throughout my life I have learned some sort of Animation, stop motion, flip books, Maya, etc. I realized that I had really enjoyed Animation and decided to take the Animation Class for Freestyle.
Freestyle has been such a good class so far. Even though there is a heavy workload, the workload is actually enjoyable, so I don’t really hate doing the homework. I learned a lot in animation. I used to think the old flip books that I made from sticky notes were cool, but after what I learned from Animation, it gave me a whole new light on the aspects of animation. I also really value the community inside Freestyle Academy. The teachers and students are all very kind and communicating with them is very easy.
Reflection
Freestyle was one of the best experiences I could have asked for within my entire life as a student. I was able to make so many friends and learn so many new things. I was able to develop close bonds with people that had similar interests. I am truly grateful for freestyle because it taught me many important things that I need in my distant future. I loved the community freestyle had and how especially close everyone was with each other. No one felt too distant with each other, and people helped each other out for whatever projects we had to do.
