The Narrative unit began in our English class. We were given writting exercises to help us come up with a catchy and brief story. We were given a lot of freedom to choose what theme our stories were going to be about, and I decided to make mine for young children. After we came up with our own ideas, we were asked to write our stories in different perspectives. This helped us as writers really articulate what we wanted to say and how to do it in only a short amount of words. After this we moved our stories and wrote them into a screenplay. This was new to us, as we had never written a screen play before, but it was a lot of fun. This story became the building block for the rest of our projects.
