Future Obviously, my future at freestyle is limited and there isn’t much more to do here for me, but I wanted to capture the future OF freestyle itself.

Frame within a Frame I thought that taking a picture of my dog, framed by the tiles in the background of my kitchen floor would be a good set/example of frame within a frame. I feel that if I had a little extra help, using my fingers to make a frame around him would have been a better example but the square tiles still do a pretty good job.
Self Portrait In this assignment we were tasked with using a camera to take a picture of ourselves in order to portray how others see us. I took a picture, mirrored it and additionally added vibrancy and more contrast.
Current Events I personally am not that in touch with politics, which is what I assume current events meant, however for my own personal current events my puppy Bean is starting training! I thought that this picture/detail would be more exciting than controversial world events.
Depth of Field I had my friend Sarah help me with this one, but I wanted to exaggerate the viewpoint as well as making Sarah look extremely studious while in class.
Deadly Sins This topic was quite easy, early in March I visited my uncle’s wine bar and he sells these fried, cheesy risotto balls. I thought that picturing this to represent “gluttony” was perfect.
Musical For this topic I decided to use a picture of my sister playing her guitar. I cropped it in order to make her the main focus and I added saturation and contrast but in doing so I feel it may have made the image fuzzy. Although the fuzziness kind of adds to the homey vibe.
Viewpoint For this topic I decided to take it more literally and so I took a picture of my sister’s eye. By doing so, it allows you to see the reflection within which gives a semi distorted viewpoint of her. I thought this would be really interesting and unique. I changed the vibrance of the colours to make the eye pop a bit more.
Film Noir Over the Break in February I went to New York, I decided that while I was in Grand Central Station, I could take a very dramatic photo of the ceiling. In editing I dimmed the lighting a bit and added sharpness.
Work My sister was working on a song, and I feel like it represents the word “work” perfectly without it being just someone working behind a computer screen. I really love this picture and how it turned out.
