Zenith

INTRODUCTION

During our Zenith project, we were given the freedom of picking a project we wanted to work on within our field. Although animation students were encouraged to do 3D animation, I decided to stick with 2D as it is something I want to practice more and comfortable with. We were also encouraged to use past character models, but since I was doing 2D I started from scratch.

This project was a HUGE challenge and a HUGE risk due to the amount of animation I was planning to do as well as the complexity. Additionally I wanted to do this all in colour which put me under more of a time crunch.

I decided to start working/storyboarding almost immediately as we were done with our group 3D animation so I could get a good head start, hoping I would finish in time.

Getting a head start also made it easier for me when compiling the animation scenes together, because I had more time I was able to add unique sound effects that added to the feel of my animation.
