Hi! My name is Rachel, and I graduated Mountain View High School 2025and attended Freestyle academy from 2023-2025. I chose Freestyle because the courses at MVHS didn’t interest me fully and I wanted to explore something new. However, I had no idea just how much I would grow while at Freestyle. English class helped me explore new subjects through novels like 1984, Slaughterhouse-5, and Parable of the Sower. Design gave me advanced skills in Adobe Photoshop and InDesign and fostered my creativity. Digital Media helped me learn discipline and patience, and taught me proficiency in Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, Pro Tools, and more. Overall, my time in Freestyle Academy helped me learn more about myself and my ability, find like-minded friends, and learn things I never thought I would begin to understand.
