This assignment required the use of shadow to tell a story. I saw these shadows in my backyard and thought they were created very cool pattern on the stones, especially combined with the plants growing through the cracks. The shadows give the feeling of bars keeping something confined behind the stones. Perhaps the plants are being confined behind the “bars” of the shadows, but are managing to peek through the cracks of the stones.
