Self-Portrait Illustration

 

In design we were given the task of choosing a personal characteristic and expressing it and its flip side through and illustrator image. Please click the thumbnaile to see the full size image.

 

 

 

In this self-portrait illustration I exemplify one of my personal traits and its flip side. In this illustration I chose to represent my rationality and then in turn my lack of imagination.
In the illustration I used a safe that has many imaginary creations locked up inside it, while next to it are rational and exact things flowing out of an open box. Among the things flowing out of the open box is a key which opens the safe showing that sometimes my rationality is the key to exposing my imaginative side.
