Our trampoline had become a victim of the stormy winds last week and as a result, we finally had to say our goodbyes to our 8-year-old trampoline. Even though she was on her last lifeline, with missing springs and a net, saying goodbye was difficult due to all of the memories that she carried. I will always cherish the late-night talks and hours of bouncing that I did on that trampoline. Yet, even though things come and go with age the memories will stay forever and that is what keeps me going on the days that I look outside our front yard and see the dead patch of grass that once housed our trampoline.
