During my road trip to the floral blooming near Bakersfield, I took many photos of the natural surroundings. Most of my photos in the beginning were wide shots of the landscape and the oceans of orange, purple, blue, and yellow colors the flowers created. But soon, I started looking closer at the small things. The birds soaring through the air, the caterpillars crawling through the dirt, and especially the flowers. This photo of this purple flower is one of my favorite.
