We also learned how to create music using Pro Tools and Reason, two audio editing programs with the capability of writing MIDI music. Having gotten interested in music myself within the past two years, I found this to be a wildly fascinating project, and became quickly enamored with Reason.

Here is a compilation of all the EDM 8-bar tracks each student created in Reason. When put together, they make a… unique sound, to say the least. It’s interesting seeing the styles put together in an exquisite corpse audio piece. Mine starts at 0:16 and ends at 0:32.
