Narrative Visual Perspective in Digital Media

Music Production

At the beginning of this unit, we used ProTools and Reason in order to create music scores. I am fairly new to using both applications, so I am proud of the product that I created. I had a lot of fun making this music production, because I wan’t worried about making it perfect.

Splash Screen

When you open this website, there is a splash screen showing my name, a quote, and a play button for audio. In order to make this, we used Dreamweaver to write the code to make a screen that was 100% personalized.

Multi-Layered Art Production

At the end of this unit, we had the opportunity to choose to make one of three multi-layered art productions with a partner. I partnered up with Elen Parry, and we made a light-box, making shapes out of paper, and then shining a light through the box. We are both Film students, and are both very big fans of Wes Anderson, so we chose to attempt to mimic the miniature of the Grand Budapest Hotel from Anderson’s film The Grand Budapest Hotel.

Our inspiration for this production was Wes Anderson’s The Grand Budpest Hotel. What I valued from this project was just having fun making this product. The light-box is really cool, and I am so glad that we were able to make it, because I don’t think I would have ever made something like it otherwise.
