Though it’s not easy, I knew complicating things wouldn’t honestly express my culture, so I stuck to keeping it real by taking a simple photo in my house. You can probably tell by the Matryoshka’s that I am of Russian origin, but another, less obvious element, would be the frog statuettes since they are imported from Ukraine, my second half.
