This shot was taken at the perfect hour during the summer when I was visiting Greece. The water makes the landscape nearly symmetrical, and the foreground rocks are close enough 🙂
Bringing you back to before stress and responsibility, this photo displays the innocence, chaos and warmth associated with games. From the scattered wood puzzles and ruffled deck of cards, this feels like a nice pause in the middle of a stress-filled year.
At the moment I’ve been having a horrible creative block, and it makes everything that i create seem like less of an accomplishment. This picture captures the frustration and anger that is felt when this block affects my art, and also the shame of feeling like my creations aren’t good enough for myself.
Inspired by the rule of thirds, I set up a scene that would fit nicely into the format of thirds. Putting the cup and stack of books right on the third lines creates a nice composition in the photo.
The goal of this photo was to express myself in a picture, without actually showing my face. I opted impersonate one of my favorite content creators that happens to hide his face. This content creator plays Minecraft, and that is a big part f my current life and childhood, so dressing up has him seemed fitting for a self portrait.
