Flowers

Tristan Bouteille- May 30 2026 50mm 1/200 f4.5 ISO160 I took this photo of a flower in my yard since I thought it looked very pretty. I made sure to separate the flower from the background by setting low apeture in order to make it blurry. This made the flower pop more and captivate the …

Geometry

Tristan Bouteille- May 30 2026 F4, 50mm, 1/200, ISO 500 I thought this photo represented geometry really well since it has leading lines pointing to the edge of the bridge as well as having a cross pattern within the rails themselves.

Angles

Tristan Bouteille- April 19 2026 F8, 50mm, ISO 1600, 1/1500 This picture is of a light that hangs over my living room. I have always really liked the angles that are made on the light. I made sure that the light bulbs apear brighter in the picture to captivate the viewer’s attention.

Tell a lie

Tristan Bouteille- April 19 2026 F4, 50mm, ISO 1600, 1/50 This photo somewhat tells a lie by making it look like its an actual car driving on sand dunes. Unfortunately after looking at the photo on a computer screen it does not look as convincing as it did on my camera.

The sunset brought me sense of peace and serenity and after taking the photo I stayed to appreciate the …

Aging

Tristan Bouteille- March 20 2026 F4, 50mm, ISO 1600, 1/50 The photo of the pliers is meant to represent aging because there is a lot of rust on them. The pliers have been in my garage for a very long time and can very well be older than me

Golden hour

Tristan Bouteille- February 15 2026 50mm, F8 ISO 1600, 1/4096 I was trying to show the golden hour since the sun is just over the horizon. I also chose to make the rest of the photo darker in order to put all of the focus on the sun.

Negative Space

Tristan Bouteille – February 15 2026 50mm, F8, ISO 1600 1/256 In this photo I used negative space to put the full focus of the viewer on the flag. I also used the rule of thirds and put the flag in the bottom and left most thirds of the frame.

Center framed portrait

F4, 50mm, ISO 1600, 1/80 For the center portrait photo I made it a little bit darker and made sure to but light from the front in order to avoid having dark shadows under the eyes. I also chose to have a plain background to put more focus on the subject

Eye

Tristan Bouteille – January 27 2026 The I made the eye photo brighter in order to contrast with my brothers dark brown eyes. I also chose to do an extreme close up in order to fully capture the eye.
