For this unit we were asked to create and design a humor project based on the inspiration of our favorite comedians.
For my humor inspiration, I decided to a skit based on Everette Noble, a popular comedian on Tik Tok. Everettes Noble does situational skits, based on everyday life activities. His twist on humor is that he does everything in a over exaggerated manner, and does it in a way that shows the stereotypes about the situation. A example I like using is his dentist skit, where he plays both dentist and patient. He goes over the top with the harsh cleaning, only to blame the the patient for not cleaning enough.
I decided to do something similar to Everettes situation skit and create a situational skit of my own. For this skit I decided to do something with the worlds worst barber. Everybody has gotten a bad haircut before and it is something that a lot of teens and kids have faced In the past or will face in the future. I wanted to turn this situation into a skit by also implementing barber stereotypes like saying ” you’re moving too much ” or even cutting the hair too short without the person knowing.

The humor project was one of funnest projects I’ve worked on so far at freestyle. It was great to see people enjoy each other humor projects and get a laugh during class. It was also great to have more freedom on this project by creating videos rather than actually writing like a “humor” story out. Overall I say that this humor project was one of the best freestyle projects so far
