Balance in Holiday Traditions
This beautiful menorah stays balanced as each candle is lit, showing how tradition grows while staying rooted. Being Jewish and celebrating these traditions and holidays is very important to me and a strong part of who I am.
Water
Water is precious and beautiful, especially waves that crash against rocks, creating a multi-colored and sparkly scene. These San Fransisco waters and the city in the far background capture this idea perfectly.
Leading Lines
This picture of the CalTrain station illustrates perfect leading lines, as the train itself along with the sidewalk creates depth in the image that guides the viewer’s eye down the street infinitely.
Sunsets
I felt this sunset was so pretty and perfect for this prompt. It quickly became one of my favorite photos i’ve taken as it beautifully captures the bay, bridge, and locks on the chain wall.
Symmetry Landscape
The pretty waters of this lake perfectly reflected the trees/plants along it, creating seamless symmetry between them. It worked so well it looks like a mirror!
Weight or Mass
The Golden Gate Bridge in the back perfectly balances weight/mass because it gets smaller as you look further back, making it look like it’s as big as me.
Mood
My mood this day was calm and content, and I felt that a sunset up at a viewpoint is the perfect place to feel that. I drove up there with my friends and took this picture!
