Exit
Sunsets are definitely one of my favorite things to photograph because they perfectly represent the end of one day (or in this case, an exit) while also foreshadowing the beginning of another.
Flowers
I thought these flowers were the perfect vibrant pink color to beautifully capture blooming spring flowers!
Tell a Lie
I took this photo in Japan of my friend Lulu looking like she is touching the top of Mt. Fuji! The alignment of her hand and the mountain makes the camera “tell a lie” because she’s not actually touching it.
Angles
I took this photo in the Bamboo Forest in Japan, and although the trees were already super tall, I purposefully took the photo from a lower angle to really make them look like they were towering over everything, and to get a cool shot of the sun shining through!
Serenity
To me, serenity focuses on being anxiety and stress-free. My favorite way to achieve this feeling is to go, with friends or family, to a pretty reservoir and enjoy the view like the one in this photo!
Aging
I took this photo to signify aging because one vase is empty, representing the beginning or even the time before growth, while the other vase is full of flowers that continue to grow, demonstrating the cycle of life.
Negative Space
This photo was taken at the SFMOMA, and is one of my favorite pieces at the museum. I thought it would be perfect for this prompt because it just stands there alone compared to the other artworks yet is still super amazing and interesting to look at.
Golden Hour
I took this photo while on a long drive and thought it perfectly encapsulates the golden hour “look” because it’s golden and so pretty!
Center Frame Portrait
This portrait of the sky was taken at Antelope Canyon in Arizona. The curvy mountains cave around the sky, centering it perfectly. It also kinda makes the shape of a bunny!
New Beginnings
I took this photo over break while in Arizona. I think the sunrise perfectly illustrates a beginning as it’s starting the new day off beautifully.
