Another Japanese website that I have to feature is Cookpad. This site is a famous recipe site in Japan. This site is like no other recipe site. Not only does it give you recipes to delicious looking food, but it basically also tells you how to make your food to look like an art form. Food art is a big trend in Japan and lots of mothers makes bento into art. Almost every food there is made with such precision and the presentations are always exquisite. While I don't cook at all, I love looking at the art portion of it and see how food can take different forms. I think that food art is also another form of art that is really impressive and if you want to check out delicious looking food, I recommend you check this site out.

Have an obsession with paper? Well, this site talks all about paper. This site which is called Paper Crave features anything that has to do with paper design. From invitation cards to paper crafts, this site comes up with the smartest ways to use paper as their main tool for design. While I never really do buy any of their product, even though I really want to, I love looking at their design for inspiration and hope someday I am able to design like that. My favorite portion of the website is the papercraft they come up with. They are able to take paper and make mistletoes and 3D snowmans out of it. This site shows that you can take such a simple thing like paper and find endless uses to them.

I was introduced to this illustrator’s website through Instagram. I have followed this illustrator for quite a while now and I was immediately drawn to her artwork the first time I saw it. I have always admired her style of drawing and have tried to emulate it many times. I love how creative she can be and see how she comes up with her ideas. Her pop art style works never fail to fascinate me and every time I am interested to know what she draws next. This website not only features her artworks but she also has a blog and a shop where she sells her designs. If you are looking for amazing illustrators, I recommend you check out her website!

This website is a perfect place for design addicts like me. This site, which is a design blog, features different people’s design from all over the world. This blogger loves to collect high quality inspiration from designers and puts the ones she likes on her site. Each day of the week, she would show different varieties of posts so that there would be a big range of designs. This feature on her site is what draws me into her blog. Being able to see different types of unique designs for each day of the week helps with variety and also the ability to gain inspiration from many different types of styles. I also love the designs that she chooses for her blog and it really keeps me entertained.

Buzzfeed is probably one of the most addicting site that I have ever visited. This site which includes news, videos, quizzes, entertainment, and more will keep you clicking through the site. My favorite portion of the site is the random lists of facts that they display for us and it always makes me want to know more. Not only that but they have long lists of relatable situation that would either make you laugh or think “hey! I experienced that before.” While this site mainly contain humourous information and displays a collection of all social media, they do also try to convey important messages. Over time, this site, especially their Youtube videos, has gained much popularity among teens. If you are looking her a good laugh, I recommend you check their site out.

An obsession that I have is collecting stationaries. Ever since I was young, I loved having unique stationery that had pretty designs on it. Whenever I was in Japan, I would always visit stationery stores and spend hours testing all the pens out. Since I am unable to do that, I love visiting this site as they sells many unique stationery. Though I never buy any of these stationaries, I love looking at new products and see what new idea they come up with. Furthermore, this company site includes a very famous notebook brand called Campus and young teens in Japan loves decorating them. What I love about this site is that they feature a lot of the notebooks that were decorated. These art designs helps me get inspired so even though it might be hard to navigate through this site due to the language barrier, I recommend that you visit it if you have an obsession with stationeries like me.

This website is a site I secretly visit quite frequently. It is a japanese site that can be translated into English but mainly most of it’s content is in Japanese. Nicola is a teen fashion magazine that is popular in Japan and a secret obsession of mine. It features Japanese fashion, advice and tips and many more. This site basically expands beyond the magazine and shows other content that were not displayed in the magazine. They would have videos, pictures, blogs, calendars, etc. Since I like to know about life of teens in Japan and stay intact with my culture, this site is a fun way for me to keep up with Japan. Also, this site has become a great place for me to practice my Japanese.

A site that I like to visit is called bored button. This site is probably one of the most ridiculous and distracting site that I visit for fun. It is a website created for people who is bored during school, work or anytime of the day. By pressing the big red button, it will instantly take you to a interactive websites that is specifically created to cure boredom. Just by clicking on it, it would lead you to polls, games, tricks, and many more. This site would always lead you to something new and different, making it a great way to cure boredom. Each time, a different game would pop up, keeping you entertained for a while.

A website that I frequently visit is a site called Redbubble. It is a marketplace that sells prints made by submitted users. I love this site because it sells all sorts of accessories that can be bought by both men and female. Though I could never buy anything from that site, I love browsing through the different designs and art they have. What I love about redbubble is that they have many different designs that range from abstract to graphic and they have quirks and uniqueness that is so addicting to view. I often visit this site to look for design inspiration and hope one day I can make something equivalent to their level.
