Being at freestyle, we use the internet everyday. We use it to create new things, for social networking, for news, to entertain ourselves, and often we find cool websites that we want to show other people. Here on the Web Gems page I show you things I have found helpful or entertaining on the internet. I hope you enjoy them too.
This website allows you to turn youtube, or other online videos into mp3 files. I find this useful when I find cool, original music on youtube that is not on iTunes that I want to listen to and show family and friends, I can get it directly from youtube into an accessible audio format. Also sometimes I find useful videos on youtube about things I am learning in school and I will put them on my ipod so I can listen to them and study on the go. Video2mp3 is a very useful tool for getting unique music and helping me study.

I found this video while looking around on youtube. It is a man singing pop song, DJ Got Us Falling in Love and I thought it was funny and worth sharing. He has many videos of him singing various pop songs if you are interested. One even has Kanye West singing with him. He has become one of the most popular youtube channels just because of funny videos like this one. I hope you enjoy.

I have been playing guitar for almost five years and even though I am usually busy and do not play very consistently I still enjoy playing. I am a huge fan of lacrosse. I have been playing for five years and it is by far my favorite sport. I use lacrosse monkey to find all the gear I want and need. I love finding new music. I love showing people new songs that they have never heard before. One way I have found a lot of the music I listen to is through pandora.com. If you enter an artist or song that you enjoy it will find other songs you may like as well. I have over 20 radio stations on my pandora account and often use the quick mix feature to play all music I might like. I also have pandora availible on both my phone and iPod so I am constantly using it.

I play both football and lacrosse at Los Altos High School and my mom frequently asks me where she can find pictures of my games. Sportswurlz.com travels to high school sports games all around the bay area and take pictures and put them up on their website. While I am usuay just interested in football and lacrosse they also take pictures of baseball, basketball, track, soccer and cross country. They take pictures at both JV and Varsity level games. Sportswurlz helps me find pictures of games of mine so I can remember them in the future.

Addicting games provides thousands of free online games availible to you 24/7. Often I find myself bored while searching the internet and often find myself looking for something to do. I turn to addictinggames.com to find something to do. They have racing games, shooting games, puzzles, sports games, any type of game you want to play they have. One of my favorite games to play on it is Kittin Cannon. Though most of the games are stupid they are fun and addicting and are a good way to pass the time.
