When I was on the verge of creating my Animation I thought it had to be exactly like our Animatics, turns out it didn't. So I was planning for myAnimation to have 13 scenes like my Animatic, but it didn't have to. So I shortened my Animated by a couple scenes for time circumstances.
We used Adobe Flash for our Animatic and Animation. For my Animation I definatley had to figure a lot of things out. I had to learn and consume a lot of information to remember to do for my Animation. At first it was overwhelming but it got better and better as time went on because I knew how to do a lot of things I didn't know. For starters I had to figure out how to make my characters blink, and walk. I just made them waddle and for blinking I had the eye lids be covering the eyes on different key frames so it would look like they were blinking.
Animating is the most time consuming thing to do on the entire planet. It took me a long time to do certain things. Although I was told that it is faster to draw our scenes in Flash but I drew mine in Adobe Illustrator becuase I could draw more detailed and it was a broader tools I could use to do different things.
Over all I had a fun time doing this project becuase I learned a lot of different techniques for maybe later projects we will have to do in the future. It was a lot of work drawing very single scene and character and face expression and background and breaking the backgrounds up to make one character behind a counter or something. And changing every couple keyframes to ake the character do this or that. It kept me really buisy and I think I speak for everyone when I say that.
