This was taken during my visit to Xi’an China during spring break. I am atop the Xi’an city wall, constructed in the 14th century. Just a little bit beyond the wall is all of the new modern day stuff. I composed the image with the “peephole” border following the left, right, and bottom rule of thirds very closely.
