Tell a lie

This week, we were challenged to ‘tell a lie’. The goal was to refute the statement “The camera never lies.” After thinking it through, I came to the conclusion that I could photograph an event happening fast enough to distort its meaning. Using the highest possible shutter speed, I was able to take the photograph as if a ball was levitating off of a hand fixated into an unnatural position with water droplets floating nearby to emphasize the event further and push the boundaries of reality further.
