I can’t quite remember the mood I was in when I took this photo, but I do know that I wanted the photo to be of these specific trees. I had many different versions, some where I took the photo from just below the trees and made them frame the top of the photograph – as well as other photos like this one where I fidgeted with the options (such as white balance) to try and make a photo that I found the most satisfying. I eventually chose this photo out of all of them, due to the fact that I enjoyed the framing effect that the roof provided.
