The raindrops on the car window blur the buildings outside, making the world look softer and farther away. Instead of focusing on what is happening outside, the rain creates a peaceful mood and slows everything down.
While the rain continues outside, inside of the car feels warm and quiet, it makes me feel calming rather than sad. When we sit quietly watching the world through a window, it creates a moment for me to pause and think.
