About This Podcast
Have you ever let out a good old fart and felt good about yourself, only seconds later to hear the angry chants of others feeling the “repercussions” of your actions? No matter the answer to the previous question the fARTcast will question why you are doing exactly what you are doing through the medium of relatable fART jokes. Whether that may be questioning if norms on procrastination are false or if art is worth being made the fARTcast will teach you to ask questions no matter the smell of your atmosphere.
Podcaster Bio
Hi, my name is Arsh Merchant and I am a current student at Freestyle Academy, a digital arts and communications program in the Silicon Valley. After studying the arts for the past two years I have realized that the traditional arts aren’t for me however no matter what I do I cannot escape art. After trying to be a somewhat traditional artist I feel slightly qualified to critique art as shown through this project.
Introduction Section
If i’m being honest I never understood why we were doing a podcast project. All I know was that this questioning of why we are doing what we are doing is what drove me to create the fARTcast. After listening to Vir Das’ Potcast I was inspired to create a similar podcast built off of questions.
