This week’s prompt was, “What is inspiring to you about the future?” The thing that is currently most inspiring to me about my future is that I managed to achieve my dream of being admitted to and in the future attending Chapman University for Animation and Visual Effects. I recently visited the area, and was extremely excited by what I found at the school. I could picture myself living there and growing into a person I can be proud of. Seeing Chapman inspired me to be proud of myself for getting in to the school and to plan for the future in a way that is driven by that pride and excitement, rather than anxiety about failing in some way (I often find myself completing assignments when driven by the latter reason, like failing to hit a deadline or get an A).
