This year’s final prompt was, “Every exit is an entry to somewhere else. Be inspired by an exit this week.” My first thought for this prompt was to take a picture of a door or exit sign, but I thought that seemed a little obvious. So, I decided to try to capture an “exit from reality.” Consuming fantasy or sci-fi books, TV shows, and movies is one of the main ways I relax. Immersing myself in a fictional world is a great way to stop thinking about real life for little while, and to cease worrying about things I can’t control. Hence, the photo I took shows my hand aiming a TV remote at a TV, preparing to “exit” the real world for a little bit, and find comfort in my imagination.
