For this assignment, my class was tasked with creating a photo that utilized the Rule of Thirds in a way that implies motion. In this photo, the right-hand vertical third is filled by flowers facing the center. The flowers appear to be stretching towards, almost reaching for the left side of the image. Although flowers move quite slowly compared to humans, they still succeed in reaching for the sun. I believe that using the rule of thirds in this photo aids in showing that steady movement forward.
