About this Podcast:
- My podcast is about a game that was trending at the time of recording it, Five Nights at Freddy’s. I think the majority of us have heard that name, and if you know anything about it the lore is a huge jumbled mess. I am very passionate about the game and decided to write and record a podcast about its lore. Since the lore is actually a creepy, sad, and beautiful story about revenge I thought it would’ve been entertaining to listen to.
Podcaster Bio(s):
- At Mountain View High School, I think it’s safe to assume that my interests are not of the majority. I enjoy gaming and usually keep to myself around others. I have made a lot of friends through these interests and even met very friendly and kind acquaintances through these games. I’m also a cosplayer and crafter, I’m currently in the works of a cosplay right now! I want to become an animator and designer to make these characters something more.
Introduction section:
- I feel as if doing a podcast betters our abilities of storytelling. Personally, I was very proud and happy after finishing my podcast as I thought my storytelling improved. I also feel as this combines English and Digital Media, increasing our skills in production. This also gives the listener a chance to connect with the author. However, I hope mine improved my storytelling and writing skills as that has been one of my biggest struggles. Best of all, podcasts are so easily accessible and fun to listen to. I definitely want to do more podcasts in the future since I have a basic understanding of how to. My biggest inspiration had to be what I was writing about. This game already had such a big story and having to dig deep and find what lies at the bottom of this story was such a good motivator. I spent a long time on this project and was really happy with how it turned out. I know my podcast may not be everyone’s cup of tea but frankly, I’m proud of myself for it.
