Photo blog #53: Frame within the Frame

During the soccer season, the team would have to wait around in the locker rooms for a while until the game was starting. So I used this time to get this cool photo of my sitting in one of the lockers. I think this image turned out great and I cant wait to take more of these types of photos.

    Photo blog #50: Using Props

For this photo I used a freestyle chair as a prop to get this really cool photo of this softball. Taking this photo was a very unique experience because I have never taken a photo using a prop.

    Photo blog #44: Viewpoint

Shutterspeed: 1/17241, Aperture: 1.6, ISO: 40 For my Moms 50th birthday we took a trip to Whistler to go skiing. While I was skiing I got lost from the group. I decided that I would go as high up the mountain as I could. At the peak there was one of the most beautiful views i’ve ever seen. So without hesitation I grabbed my camera and took this amazing photo.

    Photo blog #41: Color Theory

shutterspeed: 1/200, Aperture 1.6, ISO 1600 This is a photo that my Assistant Coach took for me. This is the Starting 11 for one of my soccer games. I am number 23 in the middle. I thought that this would be the perfect photo to use for color theory because when you are on the pitch it almost feels like you are in a movie. So I color grated this to try to capture that surreal feeling that I felt, but through a picture.

Photo blog #38: Rule of Odds

Shutterspeed: 1/15, Aperture: 1.6, ISO: 3200 This photo was taken when I was at an aquarium. I put my Camera up against the glass with a low shutter-speed. I really like how this picture came out. It followed the Rule of Odds perfectly.

Photo blog #35: Rule of Thirds

Shutterspeed: 1/975, Apeture: 1.6, ISO: 50 I really like this photo because the leaves on the right and left really stand out. This gives the feeling of that there is a lot of things in the photo.

Photo Blog #32: Fill the Frame

Shutterspeed: 1/4096, Aperture: 1.8, ISO: 200 For this photo blog I tried to take it in real time without the main person noticing. I think I did a really good job getting close to the subject and having a very simple background. I think that the fill the frame is a intresting style of photography and somthing I want to continue to try.

    Photo Blog #29: Facial Symmetry

This image shows my face flipped symmetrically on the left and right side. I thought is was interesting to see how symmetry affects human faces, as it’s rare for a human to have a perfectly symmetrical face.
