Narrative Visual Perspective in Digital Media

The Narrative unit in Digital Media was very fun this semester. I learned so many new tricks in After Effects that will be very useful in my future. Some of my best work came from this unit so I am extremely excited show showcase it.

After creating our world building worlds, Xavier and I wanted to use our english narrative that we came up with. It is about a person who is stuck on the east side of the Berlin wall and he builds a portal to travel in time so the wall never gets built. Designing this and actually building it was a lot of fun. This is the video of us assembling all the parts together.

This is a digital video of what I assembled. I also colored the layers to make it look more appealing. This took a long time because I had to color all the layers in illustrator, then move all of it to After Effects. I think that it turned out really well and I am proud of my work.

This is what the final product of my stacked wood art looks like. Theres a lot more layers but they cant really be seen from this image.
