Aperture 5.6, ISO 100, Shutter Speed 1/1024

With January and the new year, resolutions come along with it. I am not a strong believer in New Year’s resolutions, if someone wanted to start something, they could do it at any time. Why wait for the new year? I see every day as a new opportunity to accomplish something, and start something new, which is why I shot a sunrise for the prompt of new beginnings. As it was bright, I experimented with the shutter speed and ultimately had it at a low setting to capture the sun and its surroundings best. In Adobe Photoshop, I added a multiply layer at an opacity of 50% which helped the blues and oranges in the sky to be more vivid.
