After creating a multitude of projects with Adobe Illustrator in my Design and Digital Media classes, I started creating some of my own digital art.
Project #1

This piece was one of my first ventures into personal digital art and it helped me begin figuring out what my style is. I originally took this photo for a photoblog in my Digital Media class to represent aging. I wanted to build more on the idea of aging and represent a free spirit that comes with youth.
Project #2

I created this piece for one of my close family friends, Arnav (the subject of the piece). About two years ago, he was diagnosed with osteosarcoma (a type of bone cancer) and was able to fight through it. Though he lost an arm, he did not lose his optimistic spirit, he came out of that experience stronger than ever. It’s been about a year since he has been without cancer, but we recently found out that it came back to different areas of his body including his shoulders, back, and lungs. This piece represents his hope and optimism because he has always been able to see past the tough times and know the world has more to offer him than he is given currently.
