With the ending of one year comes the beginning of another. To symbolize the cycle of the passage of time, I chose to photograph the moon, which itself has a cycle. It was difficult to capture the beauty of the moon, but I like how this photo turned out, particularly the radial symmetry and the sharpness of rays coming from the moon.
