The idea that started everything, eventually leading to this animation, came to me in the shower. I've always held a small fascination with clocks, and the idea just ensued.

To begin my animation, I had to grow acquinted with Adobe Flash and realize just how animating really worked, and understand the concept of frames. One frame was a picture, a snapshot, and when they're combined in a short time, it makes the object move. And that's how an animation is created. Because this was my animation, I had to draw everything by hand. I used both Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator to create both my characters, the settings, props, etc.

Once I finished drawing, it was time to put everything together in Flash and time the motions of each body part, add in the recorded voices, and lip synch. The longest process, to me, was either drawing every single thing or lip synching the voices. In the end, I think I did a pretty good job, as this is the first time I've ever done anything like this.

I kept my animation simple in terms of cast, and enlisted the help of Michael Jones and Adam Poltorak for the voices.
