The documentary project is possibly one of the projects that I feel the most proud of. The subject was a record store on the famous Bascom avenue.

The “Senior Narrative” project has somewhat of a reputation around the film group, it is labor intensive, tedious, taking on your sanity, partnership, and work ethic, but in the end, watching the finished product makes it all worthwhile.

Reflection

So as we come down to the wire has come down to reflect what has happened to me during my freestyle career. It was very brief but very eventful two year period I feel that I have matured and changed a lot as a person both in the skills that I know and in the things that I want to pursue. So starting at the beginning as a sophomore I was never really the type for school, meaning that I was having trouble finding myself in my academic classes figuring out what I was interested in, what I was going to do in the future After High School. But through the guidance of freestyle I think that I have really found myself in this world and I have found the things that bring me joy to do and what I want to pursue in a day-to-day career.

Through film I learned the importance of Storytelling, the importance of having one project to focus on in to come back to continually for months to never give up on an idea until you see it through to the end and to respect your feedback.

Through English I learned the importance of dedication to what you are writing about, the importance of revisions and listening to what your teacher has to say about your writing, and the difference and incredible teacher can make.

Through digital media, I learned what comes behind the art, and I figured out what it takes to become literate in this new digital world.
