Culture

Although many might consider my Mexican ancestry and Jewish heritage the primary aspects of my culture, I believe it is more important to emphasize our individual traditions, the customs we choose to practice in our own ways. For my family, this is our yearly camping trip. Even if my great-great grandparents didn’t follow this, I like to believe we are creating a family tradition for those who come after us, and creating our own culture by doing so.
