I decided to have a vertical image to accompany how tall the subject of the photo is, the fan. I also decided to ahve the background be a red curtain, to fulfill the other idea of fill the frame.
I decided to tell their story with mine, with a map of my home country and the flags of places we’ve been. It tells a subtle enough story about our origins and experiences, while also being compositionally decent.
