For the Snake Oil Product Label, it was made based off of old snake oil labels, and I feel rather fond of it. I think that it’s a bit plain but it still holds a good place in my heart
Meanwhile, the narrative creature image was created by myself using Adobe Illustrator. The intent of the project was, with our narrative short story, combine the attributes of the main character into a hybrid creature. The creatures I selected were an Owl, Moth, Bat, Jellyfish and a Sea Turtle. Thus above is the result of the combination.
Finally, we have the narrative portrait. My subject was my brother, who I photographed as the main character in a fitting environment, with red lighting to both portray the mood and to simulate the actual environment. The green apple itself was actually red, but was edited to be green in order to make for a more interesting image, and guide the viewers eyes.
