Center Frame Portrait

50mm, f6.3, ISO 6400, 1/1000

For this photoblog we were challenged to take a center frame portrait. I decided to capture a portrait of two friends looking out onto the Bay Area skyline. Since my subjects are placed in the middle of the frame, it emphasizes the close connection between the two subjects rather than their surroundings. This helps draw the viewer’s eye to the two girls, making it the focal point of the image.
