Creatively Staged

In order to creatively frame this miniature boat figure. I decided to line up mini perfume bottles I had so the caps would reflect light and look like mini golden waves.

Deadly Sins

I chose gluttony as my deadly sin. As we can see in the photo, it’s a bunch of spilled nuts. Which should be a superfood, but instead they’re covered in sugar, which limits their nutritional value.

Film Noire

Nothing screams film noire more than a dark alleyway or vintage building. Thus here’s a picture of my library in noire style.

Viewpoint

Often we don’t look at what we wear enough and appreciate the textures of different clothes. It’s satisfying seeing the cotton denim on my jeans and how it’s faded gracefully overtime.

Small vs. Large

I was stumped on what to do for this prompt until I discovered a small hot sauce bottle we had. It’s comical the size difference between the siracha sauce bottle and the mini tobasco one.

Color Theory

I find it interesting how my macbook may be one color, but because of the matt surface it appears to change color in the light. It also may appear a different color depending on what background it’s on.

Low Angle

This is one of my favorite thrift finds, it’s a lamp that looks like a teacup with a small angle. I’m very excited I have this piece and it really shines when you get down and look at it closely.

Silhouette

This is a teddy pin I found during my volunteering hours for cancer society at their discovery shops. You can see the cute silhouette being revealed as a shadow onto my bed night stand.

Rule Of Thirds

This is a photo of the toy car I thrifted at an estate sale down the street. I always think it looks so fitting in my at home library, you can see how the car is on alignment with the rule of thirds to lead the eye to the left.

Gratitude

I’m very grateful for the friends I’ve attained this year, above all I’m happy that they push me to be a better artist and person.
