Sitting at the front desk of Cuesta Park’s tennis courts, Audrey Shen works hard in customer service. Parents wander in, asking where their child’s tennis lesson is, and she calmly explains that they have been relocated to Rengstorff park since there is an event until 12 pm at Cuesta. She spends every Sunday morning here, being paid minimum wage to check patrons in to courts and sign kids up for classes.
