This narrative introduces a topic that discusses how to use all the skills that they developed and using the skills to create something of their own.

For English this year, One of the things that we worked on was the worldbuilding project, where you create your own world. I enjoyed the project because I had full freedom to create whatever I wanted. So I created a world similar to X-men’s world where it was mutants vs the government.

Logline

A group of super-powered individuals must fight for their freedom when the government destroys their hidden town and kidnaps one of their own because of their unique abilities.

This unit was definitely one of my favorites because of all the freedom that you had to create your own world. Something I struggled with was coming up with what type of world I wanted but I was inspired by X-men and I took some elements from other movies too. I wish I was able to work with a partner which would have been more fun but I ended up working on my own which was also something I struggled with since I had to present by myself in front of everyone. It was a little nerve-wracking presenting but I felt good afterward about it. I am most proud of how the narrative treatment turned out and I loved the cliffhanger in it. I also loved the visuals that I chose for my pitch presentation. This project changed the way I look at other people’s work especially writers coming up with a world for their movies It was one of the things that I struggled with, and I appreciate them more now.
