Photo Blog #1 – Self-Portrait

Buried in my books 24/7

The goal of a self-portrait is to express who a person is without the use of facial expression or attribute-based identity, instead using story telling to present an action that can imply what that individual is like.

The process to make this photo took a lot of changes in lighting and what I was going to do to present an attribute of myself. Furthermore, I also had to adjust my camera into the correct position to get just the right angle, as well as figure out how my portrayal would allow myself to keep anonymity.
